After the hockey team was flunked out, India pins its hope on a clutch of athletes in different sports whose dreams for a medal seem more real than ever. The number of genuine medal aspirants expanding to include a nine-member clutch of shooters, the largest-ever boxing contingent, an archery team with loads of experience and ambition and, of course, the terrible twosome Paes and Bhupathi, for one last time.
